Dental CAD Anterior A2 Designer

About the role

Dandy, a venture-backed company building an operating system for dental offices, is looking for a skilled Designer in Cairo to turn digital dental scans into precise multi-unit crown designs. The role uses 3Shape expertise and a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities

• Use 3Shape and the company's proprietary software to design dental crowns from scans and dentist prescriptions, including multi-unit posterior crowns with multi-unit anterior design.
• Ensure high accuracy and quality in every crown design, following design specifications and meeting set timeframes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of strong CAD experience in Anteriors.
• Demonstrated experience in anterior cases, abutment/bars and crown and bridge design.
• Ability to mirror multiple anterior units with symmetry and harmony, with a natural, smooth transition between mirrored and natural anatomy.
• Effective smile library selection when contralateral references are unavailable, and balanced esthetic outcomes when managing spacing, rotations or alignment challenges.
• Proper interproximal and occlusal contact to ensure functional integration.
• Comfortable sitting for long periods at a computer, patient in troubleshooting design issues, and able to work both independently and in a team.

Required skills

• 3Shape CAD software (essential).
• Experience with anterior cases, abutments, bars and crown and bridge design.
• Bonus points for problem-solving, time management and comfort with digital platforms such as Google Suite.
