Design Project Manager – Multidisciplinary Design Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex design projects across architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery for design projects.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, integrating architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure inputs.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor progress, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Review and approve design submissions for quality and code compliance.
• Engage with clients in technical meetings and presentations.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, BIM, and Project Management teams to achieve objectives.
• Mentor project teams and support staff development.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Master’s degree or PMP certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering design and project management.
• At least 7 years managing multidisciplinary design projects.
• Proven track record on large‑scale or mega projects within engineering consultancy firms.

• QA/QC processes for design deliverables.
