DevOps Lead

About the role

blnk is a fintech company focused on point‑of‑sale financing in Egypt. We are looking for a DevOps Lead to own and evolve our on‑premise infrastructure, strengthen security, and drive reliability at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and operate on‑premise infrastructure (OpenStack, bare‑metal, storage, networking) and manage hybrid integrations.
• Manage container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher) including capacity planning, lifecycle, and health.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scans and rollout patterns.
• Define observability strategy using New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana; establish SLIs/SLOs and lead incident response.
• Own infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible); develop automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Implement security controls, RBAC, secrets management and support compliance audits (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST).

Required profile

• 7+ years of DevOps, platform engineering or SRE experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in on‑premise or hybrid environments, especially OpenStack‑based infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands‑on experience with observability tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana) and Linux administration.
• Proven ability to lead incident response, define SLIs/SLOs and drive automation.
