About the role
Mixel, a Silvaco company, is an innovator of high-performance analog mixed-signal semiconductor IPs used in mobile, display, camera, automotive, VR, AR and AI applications. Its Cairo office runs a 3-month internship program for digital verification, where interns learn from experienced engineers, contribute to real engineering projects and develop practical skills using industry-leading design methodologies, tools and workflows.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering
- Fluent English
- Unix/Linux computer skills required
- Current GPA (or latest academic grade) and military status (if applicable) should be added to the resume
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog
- Strong proficiency in UVM methodology
- Solid understanding of functional and code coverage metrics and closure
- Object-oriented programming languages
Desirable: familiarity with RTL design, synthesis and CDC analysis, and working knowledge of shell, Perl and TCL scripting. Outstanding interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.
