Director of Marketing Communication

About the role

The Director of Marketing Communication will support the Director of Sales & Marketing in positioning and promoting the Kempinski Nile Hotel as a market leader. This senior role oversees all marketing activities, ensuring brand compliance and driving revenue across rooms, F&B, events and other hotel outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and agree the hotel marketing plan with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Pro‑actively promote rooms, food & beverage outlets, conferences, events and other revenue‑generating activities.
• Plan and create promotions and packages in collaboration with F&B, Revenue, Spa and other departments.
• Conduct regular competition analysis and adjust positioning of key revenue areas.
• Monitor market trends and target customers to design effective campaigns.
• Coordinate with external agencies for marketing, PR, creative and brand campaigns.
• Manage the marketing budget, track actual vs. planned spend and recommend reallocations.
• Forecast ROI for each activity, track results and optimise spend across online, direct mail and print.
• Oversee content development for offline and online channels, ensuring up‑to‑date information on the intranet, hotel website and third‑party sites.
• Plan and supervise photo shoots, develop videography, and maintain picture storage systems.
• Maintain all collateral, advertisements and assets as property‑owned resources.
• Ensure brand consistency across all guest touch points and outlet identities.
• Develop communication plans for the monthly KENT newsletter and corporate Kempinski newsletter.
• Act as brand custodian in partnership with the General Manager and DOSM.
