Distribution Center Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Distribution Center Coordinator to manage daily warehouse operations at Talabat. The role involves overseeing order picking, stock replenishment, and the safe movement of goods throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full‑floor tasks including picking orders, restocking high‑reach racks and positioning inventory where needed.
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to transport large quantities of stock safely across aisles and loading bays.
• Load outgoing logistics trucks and unload incoming shipments, ensuring items are stacked securely and counted accurately.
• Maintain order accuracy and speed by matching picks and pallet moves to system requirements, minimizing re‑work.
• Uphold safety and housekeeping standards by following warehouse rules, keeping aisles clear and storing tools and equipment properly.

Required profile

• Valid certification for forklift and electric pallet jack operation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a heavy‑operations warehouse or distribution centre.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending and loading heavy goods.
• Basic familiarity with handheld devices and warehouse management systems for tracking inbound and outbound logistics.
