Document Controller – Engineering & Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our engineering and construction projects in Nasr City, Cairo. The role ensures that all project documentation is accurately managed, readily accessible, and compliant with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a comprehensive document control system for drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence.
• Maintain up‑to‑date document registers, distribution matrices and ensure timely distribution to authorized personnel.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction and quality teams to secure document submission, review and approval.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Archive project documents securely upon project completion.
• Provide administrative support to the project team as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience establishing and managing document control systems in engineering or construction environments.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with quality assurance and record‑management processes.

Required skills

• Document Control best practices.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
