Electrical Engineer

About the role

Connectalents is recruiting an Electrical Engineer for a leading real‑estate developer that delivers innovative residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects across the MENA region. The role offers the chance to translate architectural concepts into fully functional electrical systems, overseeing design, installation and commissioning on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications and bills of quantities (BOQs) for accuracy.
• Supervise the installation of power distribution, lighting and low‑current systems.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Follow up on material submittals, shop drawings and obtain necessary technical approvals.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare progress and quality reports.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to resolve site clashes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
• Solid knowledge of power distribution, lighting and low‑current systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with construction codes and quality standards.
• Good command of English.
