Electrical Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Electrical Site Engineer will oversee the erection, installation, and testing of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems on construction sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Apply health and safety rules, including PPE usage and energy isolation.
• Conduct daily risk assessments to maintain a safe work environment.
• Supervise electrical, instrumentation, and control system installation and record progress.
• Oversee calibration activities with contractors.
• Participate in daily project meetings and ensure implementation of decisions.
• Supervise equipment cold‑run tests, sequence testing, fault testing, and protection device verification.
• Ensure all contractor work follows occupational health and safety instructions and company standards.

Required profile

• Experience applying health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Proven ability to supervise electrical and instrumentation installation teams.
• Capability to conduct risk assessments and report findings.
• Strong coordination skills with contractors and project engineers.
