About the role

Luminous Academy is seeking a full‑time, on‑site English Teacher for its Alexandria campus. The role involves designing and delivering engaging English language and literature lessons, fostering student participation, and monitoring academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English language and literature to primary or secondary students.
• Create comprehensive lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Promote development of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate on curriculum design and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or license.
• Previous experience teaching English at primary or secondary level (preferred).
• Strong communication abilities for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
