About the role
The Office of the President seeks a highly organized Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the President and the Executive Director. This senior‑level position ensures the President’s office runs smoothly by managing complex schedules, coordinating travel, and serving as a primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and prioritize the President’s calendar, aligning meetings, Board of Trustees sessions, strategic planning cycles, and academic events.
- Prepare briefing materials, resolve scheduling conflicts, and coordinate detailed travel itineraries for business and personal trips.
- Manage inbound and outbound communications, draft correspondence with senior writer support, and oversee the President’s general email account.
- Maintain the President’s contacts database, filing systems, and coordinate updates with the advancement team.
- Support the planning and execution of presidential functions, Board meetings, and related events, handling invitations, RSVPs, and follow‑up tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in management, communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least five years providing direct support to senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and track complex schedules and logistics.
Required skills
- Advanced calendar and travel management.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency in managing confidential information and stakeholder relationships.
