Facility Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager will ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery at Air Liquide’s Suez site. You will lead the maintenance team, minimise downtime and support a strong safety culture while driving continuous improvement of standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities to maximise productivity and minimise equipment downtime.
• Lead SOP writing, review and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Support FIT direction, Mode 3 and emergency operations, ensuring safe plant performance.
• Coordinate product loading and unloading with Sourcing and IM teams using the Liquid Production Optimisation tool.
• Apply Air Liquide’s maintenance strategy, completing routine and corrective M1 tasks.
• Communicate trends, data and information with on‑site colleagues, the cluster and experts.
• Promote compliance with all Group directives and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or a relevant maintenance domain.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated teamwork, customer focus and autonomous decision‑making.
• Knowledge of at least one maintenance discipline (mechanical, electrical or instrumentation) is preferred.
