Factory ITM & Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Factory ITM & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the implementation of the ITM strategy at its Transformers factory in Sharkia, Cairo. You will develop and execute a factory‑specific continuous improvement roadmap, coach employees on Lean and Lean Six Sigma methods, and manage the ITM team to deliver measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the BU and HUB ITM strategy at the factory level by creating and executing a CI roadmap.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to operationalize Strategy Deployment, Obeya, and Daily Management systems.
• Lead cost‑out and productivity projects, facilitate RELEX reporting, and ensure sustainment of results.
• Maintain compliance with ITM governance standards and integrate HSE and Quality Management systems.
• Incorporate Voice of the Customer into improvement initiatives and drive KPI optimization for safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Champion a continuous‑improvement culture using Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Total Productive Maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing ITM or continuous‑improvement strategies in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional CI projects and coach teams on Lean and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated skill in driving performance management and KPI ownership.
• Experience with governance compliance, root‑cause analysis (A3), and problem‑solving frameworks.
