Field Operations Technician

About the role

Vend Solutions is seeking a hands‑on Field Operations Technician to keep smart vending machines operational during a major beverage brand launch. You will travel between activation venues, restock machines, perform basic maintenance, and resolve issues on site to ensure uninterrupted service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive between venues to install, relocate, and service vending machines.
• Refill machines with products and supplies on a regular schedule.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot common issues such as jams, payment reader errors, and connectivity problems.
• Escalate technical problems that require deeper support or parts replacement.
• Track inventory levels and flag restocking needs.
• Report daily machine status and incidents to the Operations Lead.
• Maintain machine presentation and branding throughout activations.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving daily between sites.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills for clear and rapid reporting.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends during activation days.
• Prior experience with vending machines or field service is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wireless networking concepts to support equipment connectivity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation.
• Comfort using mobile devices, service applications, and basic office software for logging and reporting.
• Vending machine troubleshooting and basic maintenance skills.
