Finance Analyst - Associate

About the role

PwC ETIC, the Egypt Technology and Innovation Centre in Cairo, is hiring an Associate-level Finance Analyst for its Finance line of service. The Finance Analyst delivers the day-to-day finance managed service operations for the Finance Service Tower, covering accounts payable and order-to-cash processes, and producing the required reports.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: handle daily accounting, verify and approve vendor invoices, process vendor payments and review and validate invoice details (supplier, purchase order, bank account, invoice number and date)
• Order to Cash: reconcile cash office and sales, identify and resolve cash discrepancies, process cash applications to invoices and complete daily receipt reconciliation
• Follow up on customer and internal disputes and questions, and reconcile orders against customer books, including validating credits or debits
• Check customer names on incoming payments and follow through to payment finalisation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management / Administration or equivalent
• 1-2 years of professional experience, ideally with a diverse portfolio of people, process and technology at a leading firm, preferably in the Middle East
• Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic, with Arabic experience
