Finance Operations Senior Associate (German Speaker)

About the role

PwC ETIC, the Egypt Technology and Innovation Centre in Cairo, is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Finance Operations Senior Associate fluent in German with a strong background in finance and/or accounting. The centre offers technology solutions such as SAP and Oracle, cybersecurity, data analytics, custom development and cloud services, and is expanding rapidly. The role supports financial operations, including accounts receivable and payable, reporting and month-end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable using the time logging system and Sage
• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities
• Interpret and report monthly financial results and recommend actions
• Create job codes on the time logging system and track timesheet submissions
• Investigate and resolve irregularities or inquiries
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records, and perform bank and account reconciliations
• Run reports and share data
• Support month-end and year-end processes, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting and forecasting

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Fluency in German (written and spoken) and proficiency in English
• Proven experience in finance and/or accounting roles
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Account reconciliation, financial reporting and financial statement preparation
