Financial Control & Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Control & Tax Manager to lead the end‑to‑end record‑to‑report process, oversee general ledger accounting, and ensure tax compliance across the organization. The role combines financial reporting, audit support and internal‑control improvement within a dynamic, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, reviewing journals, accruals, provisions and adjustments.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, balance‑sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany and control accounts.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, trial balances and supporting schedules.
• Manage tax compliance including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, tax reconciliations and liaison with tax advisors and authorities.
• Support statutory reporting, external and internal audits and ensure prompt closure of audit findings.
• Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements across R2R, GL and tax functions.
• Lead and develop the accounting team and coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting, record‑to‑report, general ledger or tax functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, audit processes and accounting standards.
• Proven ability to lead a team and work with cross‑functional partners.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
