About the role
The Financial Controller will lead all financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulations while providing strategic insight to support business growth. This senior role combines hands‑on accounting oversight with high‑level financial planning and analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws and internal policies.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance and cost‑control initiatives.
- Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors.
- Develop and enhance internal controls and financial procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Supervise, mentor and develop members of the finance team.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
- 8‑10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, leadership and communication abilities.
