Fire Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Fire Safety Supervisor supports the Fire Safety Manager in implementing fire safety strategies across metro operations. This role combines hands‑on firefighting support, inspections, audits, training, and emergency preparedness to ensure a safe environment for employees, contractors, and passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Fire Safety Manager in delivering fire safety training and coordinating evacuation drills.
• Conduct weekly and monthly inspections of fire detection and suppression equipment.
• Perform audits and legal compliance checks against NFPA, Egyptian Fire Code, and internal standards.
• Maintain and update site‑specific Emergency Response Plans.
• Document fire‑related incidents, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and standardise local fire safety procedures aligned with RATP Dev policies.
• Promote a fire‑safety culture through inductions, toolbox talks, and staff engagement.

Required profile

• Experience supporting fire safety operations in a transport or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards (NFPA, local fire codes).
• Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills for training and safety briefings.
