About the role
Americana Restaurants is seeking a proactive Fleet Coordinator to manage the daily operations of its delivery fleet across the MENA region. You will ensure timely and efficient food deliveries by coordinating drivers, monitoring vehicle performance, and optimizing routes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to reduce fuel costs and improve efficiency.
- Communicate daily instructions, updates, and support to drivers.
- Track delivery performance metrics such as delivery times, customer feedback, and driver efficiency.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, schedule repairs, and ensure safety compliance.
- Resolve delivery‑related issues, including customer complaints, traffic delays, and vehicle problems.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance and operational challenges.
- Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and management teams to ensure seamless operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field (preferred).
- 1‑3 years of experience in retail or food & beverage logistics, preferably in fleet management.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make quick decisions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with fleet management software.
- Experience using GPS navigation systems.
