Front End Engineer

About the role

Octane is looking for a Front End Engineer to build and optimise user‑facing applications. You will work closely with design, product and backend teams to deliver responsive, high‑performance web experiences that drive the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user‑facing features using modern front‑end technologies.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high‑quality, responsive code.
• Optimize applications for speed, performance and scalability.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Integrate APIs and services in collaboration with backend engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.
• Debug and resolve technical issues to improve application stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in front‑end development.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
