FRP & Budgeting Section Head

About the role

The FRP & Budgeting Section Head reports to the Senior Manager and leads the financial reporting and planning function across all projects and locations. This senior position ensures accurate forecasting, budget preparation, and performance analysis while providing strategic insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and mentorship of new team members.
• Review and analyse financial statements to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis to forecast project revenues and expenses.
• Prepare and manage detailed financial reports for each project/location.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure operations stay within approved budgets.
• Identify variances between actual and budgeted results and recommend improvements.
• Track key performance indicators and produce regular management reports.
• Conduct research on historical data, market trends and industry benchmarks.
• Support feasibility studies with data analysis, financial modelling and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field (master’s or professional certification such as CFA, CMA, FMVA is a plus).
• 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning and budgeting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
