Full Stack Python Developer Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Python Developer to lead a team responsible for designing, building and delivering scalable, cloud‑native platforms. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on development, ensuring that solutions meet both business objectives and modern engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of reliable services using Python.
• Architect enterprise‑level Web APIs with FastAPI, adhering to TMF and OpenAPI standards.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to a team of engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Drive cloud‑native development on Azure PaaS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, performance optimisation and standards enforcement.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes and platform operations, including change management.
• Lead initiatives to improve performance, scalability and reliability of services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable platforms.
• Proven track record of leading development teams or technical projects.
• Strong problem‑solving, organisational and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
