Full-time Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join Doss Pharmacies in Cairo. The role involves dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients and ensuring compliance with Egyptian pharmacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medicines, verify dosages and check for drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on proper use, side effects, storage and adherence.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and manage pharmacy inventory, including stock levels and expiry dates.
• Support periodic audits and ensure the pharmacy meets quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Uphold a clean, organized and patient-focused environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist license/registration in Egypt or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutic indications and prescription assessment.
• Excellent communication and patient-counselling abilities.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ethical practice.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
