Furniture Installation Engineer (Cairo)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Furniture Installation Engineer to lead wooden furniture and interior fit‑out projects in Cairo. The successful candidate will oversee on‑site installation activities, coordinate with production and technical teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review executive drawings and verify compliance with on‑site installation requirements.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate installation activities, assigning tasks to the installation crew.
• Monitor delivery, receipt and condition of furniture items from factory to site.
• Coordinate with production management and the technical office to confirm dimensions and finishes.
• Manage installation schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager and client timelines.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during installation.
• Ensure adherence to quality, occupational health and safety regulations on‑site.
• Prepare and submit periodic progress and technical reports.
• Train and supervise technicians and installation workers.
• Obtain client approvals and delivery sign‑offs upon project completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Applied Arts, Architecture or related).
• 5–8 years of experience in wooden furniture manufacturing, installation or interior fit‑out projects.
• Proven ability to plan, organize and solve on‑site technical problems.
• Experience managing work teams and communicating effectively with clients.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
