General Accountant

About the role
Join Tagaddod, a climate‑tech company turning used cooking oil into renewable biodiesel, as a General Accountant. You will support the finance team by handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to month‑end and year‑end close processes.
Key responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Prepare account reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Process journal entries with proper documentation.
- Assist with financial reporting and audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a General Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
