General Practitioner – Petroleum Site Clinic

About the role

The General Practitioner will deliver primary and emergency medical care to employees at an oil and gas site in Saudi Arabia. Working within a dedicated clinic, the GP will support occupational health, manage workplace injuries, and promote overall employee wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary care consultations and emergency treatment on site.
• Manage occupational health cases, including health surveillance and fitness‑for‑work assessments.
• Treat workplace injuries and coordinate emergency response.
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases and conduct health‑promotion activities.
• Refer patients to specialist facilities when advanced care is required.
• Collaborate closely with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) teams to uphold safety standards.

Required profile

• MBBS or MBBCh degree from a recognised medical school.
• Completion of a medical internship.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and a Saudi medical practising licence.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
• Experience in emergency medicine, occupational health, industrial clinics, remote sites, or oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; ATLS or occupational health certifications are an advantage.
