Hardware Electronics Lab Technician

About the role

Avelabs, an Arrow Company, is looking for a skilled Hardware Electronics Lab Technician to support prototyping, testing, and validation activities in its Maadi Technology Park laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and debug electronic circuits and hardware prototypes.
• Perform SMT and through‑hole soldering and PCB rework.
• Set up and operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Support board bring‑up, validation, failure analysis and root‑cause investigations.
• Maintain lab tools, inventory and ensure compliance with safety and ESD standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in an electronics lab environment.
• Familiarity with electronic components, schematics and datasheets.
• Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits.

Required skills

• Soldering (SMT and through‑hole) and PCB assembly.
• Use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies and signal generators.
• Embedded hardware experience (microcontrollers, SoCs such as NXP).
• Knowledge of PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD or similar) is a plus.
