Head of Architecture Design Department

About the role

The Head of the Architecture Design Department is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position based in New Cairo. You will oversee all architectural design activities, ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines, and align design work with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the architectural design team.
• Manage client relationships and provide innovative design solutions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional departments and participate in project reviews.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international building standards and sustainability practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in architectural design, preferably with prior leadership of a design department.
• Proven leadership, team‑management, decision‑making and project‑management experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration and client‑relationship management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, strategic mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
