Head of Leasing (Retail Expansion)

About the role

Eyewa, the leading omnichannel eyewear retailer in the Middle East, is expanding its footprint in Egypt. We are seeking a Head of Leasing to design and execute the leasing strategy that will secure prime retail locations across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the end‑to‑end leasing strategy for Eyewa Egypt.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate high‑potential retail sites.
• Secure prime locations while ensuring favorable lease terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers and mall operators.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align site selection with expansion goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in retail leasing, real estate or expansion, preferably within the Egyptian market.
• Proven track record as a dealmaker and hunter, closing high‑value leases.
• Extensive network with Egyptian malls, developers and landlords.
• Strong commercial acumen – ability to assess footfall, catchment, rent‑to‑revenue and payback periods.
• Energetic, mobile and comfortable working in the field.
• Ambitious, ownership‑driven mindset.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
