About the role
The Head of Projects Portfolio will oversee the organization’s strategic projects portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, optimal resource allocation, and maximum value delivery. This senior position provides governance, guidance, and strategic direction across all projects.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain portfolio policies, processes, and standards.
- Prioritize projects to align with strategic objectives and allocate resources efficiently.
- Manage portfolio‑level risks and interdependencies, developing mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to project managers and officers on best practices.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews with executive leadership, reporting on progress, performance, and alignment.
Required profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field; postgraduate studies a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in project management, portfolio management or PMO leadership, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Professional certifications: PMP required; PgMP or PMO‑CP preferred.
