Hostess – Guest Reception & Seating

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations and ensure smooth seating flow throughout the dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Handle reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s reservation system, confirming guest numbers, times and special requests.
• Escort guests to their tables promptly, adjusting seating arrangements to match the venue’s capacity and flow.
• Address special seating needs, accessibility requirements and any guest concerns quickly and efficiently.
• Monitor the dining floor, ensuring tables are cleared, reset and ready for the next guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized front entrance and lobby, providing comfortable waiting areas with refreshments when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the kitchen, bar and service teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, especially during peak hours.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing guest needs and service standards.

Required skills

• Experience using reservation or booking software.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant floor management.
