Human Resources Specialist

About the role

Guillam is seeking a proactive Human Resources Specialist to support its HR and legal functions. The role blends HR administration with compliance, ensuring the company adheres to UK corporate and HR regulations while delivering excellent employee support.

Key responsibilities

• Stay up‑to‑date on all legal documents and quickly locate relevant contract information.
• Manage the HR database and liaise with legal representatives on high‑level regulations.
• Provide administrative assistance to the management team with strong English communication.
• Monitor commercial cases and respond appropriately.
• Supervise HR review processes, timelines, onboarding and off‑boarding of staff.
• Update project‑management software to keep management informed of workstream progress.
• Maintain case files for ongoing projects and issues.
• Oversee Health and Safety documentation, ensure compliance, and keep records current.
• Handle open HR and Health & Safety cases, coordinating with UK legal representatives.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of relevant HR or legal‑administrative experience.
• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and able to conduct independent research.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Legal education in English and a third language are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Experience managing HR databases.
• Familiarity with project‑management software.
