Information Technology Specialist – New Cairo

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Information Technology Specialist to join our New Cairo office. The role will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure while providing first‑line support to all users. You will work closely with department heads to align technology solutions with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt technical support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve problems to minimize business disruption.
• Configure systems, install software, and assist employees with troubleshooting.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network components including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and internet connectivity.
• Manage VPN access and ensure secure remote connectivity.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security solutions.
• Administer Microsoft 365, SharePoint, email, and Active Directory user permissions.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices, manage antivirus and endpoint protection, and monitor security tools.
• Conduct regular data backups and recovery tests.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and manage vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Proven experience with Windows and macOS environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection compliance.
