Infrastructure Manager

About the role

The Infrastructure Manager will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT and facility infrastructure across Andalusia Health Egypt’s hospitals in Alexandria and Cairo. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures high availability, security, and performance of critical systems that support patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage servers, storage, virtualization platforms and backup/recovery solutions across multiple sites.
• Oversee LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, VPNs and basic cybersecurity measures.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, patching, capacity planning and incident resolution.
• Monitor system health with dedicated tools and enforce change‑management processes.
• Lead vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and control project budgets.
• Document standards, procedures and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Mentor and supervise technical staff to ensure reliable operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale enterprise server environments (physical and virtual) in a multi‑site setting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a structured troubleshooting approach.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
