Infrastructure Specialist – Presales Hardware

About the role

The Infrastructure Specialist – Presales Hardware supports the sales team by providing technical expertise on server, storage, networking and data‑center solutions. You will translate customer requirements into robust IT infrastructure designs and help win new business.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to understand client needs and propose appropriate hardware and infrastructure solutions.
• Design and recommend servers, storage, networking, and data‑center architectures based on specifications.
• Prepare technical proposals, bills of quantities and solution documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
• Participate in client meetings, answer technical inquiries and support RFP/RFQ processes.
• Coordinate with vendors and distributors to obtain quotations and technical information.
• Ensure solutions meet customer requirements, budget constraints and technical standards.
• Provide technical guidance through the pre‑sales cycle until handover to the delivery team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or hardware presales.
• Strong knowledge of servers, storage, networking and data‑center technologies.
• Familiarity with major hardware vendors such as Dell, HPE, Cisco or Lenovo.
• Good understanding of virtualization and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
