Insurance Unit Manager

About the role

MetLife is looking for an Insurance Unit Manager to lead a team of insurance advisors in Cairo. The role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring high‑quality customer service, and aligning the unit with market and regulatory developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of insurance advisors to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Design and implement sales strategies that reflect market trends and regulatory changes.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing training, performance monitoring and feedback to the team.
• Collaborate with senior management to align unit objectives with overall company goals.

Required profile

• Experience in finance and insurance, with knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Proven team‑management skills, including leadership, mentoring and coaching.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of the Egyptian insurance market and prior managerial experience are advantageous.
