Integration Software Engineer Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Integration Software Engineer Intern to join our Professional Services team in Cairo. You will work directly with clients and partners to integrate ZIWO’s cloud contact‑center platform with external systems using APIs, SDKs and integration tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients and partners in integrating ZIWO solutions via APIs, SDKs and other interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration‑related issues efficiently.
• Provide guidance and best practices for successful deployments.
• Act as a technical point of contact for integration inquiries.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and QA teams to address recurring integration challenges.
• Contribute to internal documentation, FAQs and knowledge‑base articles.
• Stay updated on the latest tools, technologies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a client‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON and webhooks.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or PHP.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman (a plus).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (a plus).
