Intermediate Interior Designer (Zamalek, Cairo)

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to support and execute interior design projects from concept development through implementation. You will work closely with senior designers, clients, contractors and vendors to ensure design quality, technical accuracy and alignment with budget and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, mood boards and 3D visualisations based on project briefs.
• Prepare CAD drawings, construction documents and FF&E specifications, maintaining accurate drawing sets.
• Research and recommend materials, finishes and furnishings, and maintain a material library.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and consultants during implementation, including site visits and inspections.
• Assist in budget and procurement activities, reviewing BOQs and obtaining quotations.
• Create functional floor plans and furniture layouts that meet ergonomic standards.
• Document design‑related issues from site inspections and prepare detailed reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong aesthetic sense and a collaborative mindset.
