IT Digital & Support Analyst

About the role

Sika, a global specialty chemicals company, is looking for an IT Digital & Support Analyst in Cairo. The role combines application development and IT support, focusing on digital solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem and reliable technical support across several company sites. It is an onsite position reporting to the Head of IT, with travel between plants and occasional after-hours support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications with Microsoft Power Platform, turn business needs into scalable digital solutions and introduce AI-driven automation
• Build mobile-friendly apps integrated with ERP, databases or APIs
• Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports, ensure data quality and work with stakeholders on KPIs
• Provide Level 1 and 2 support, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, manage help desk tickets within SLAs and support Microsoft 365
• Deliver IT support across company plants, coordinate with central IT teams and vendors, and keep technical documentation up to date
• Support account administration in Active Directory / Azure AD and assist with system updates, deployments and patching

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline
• At least 5 years in IT support and/or application development
• Corporate or industrial support background preferred
• Fluent written and spoken English; willingness to travel between sites

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
• Active Directory / Azure AD administration
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases
• Familiarity with mobile app design, API integrations, ticketing systems and networking fundamentals
• Preferred: Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Azure, M365), ERP knowledge (SAP or Microsoft Dynamics), and manufacturing or multi-site experience
