IT Program Delivery Manager

About the role

The IT Program Delivery Manager leads the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT programs and oversees Electronic Shipping Solutions (ESS) support for the Egypt operation. This senior role ensures technical solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high service standards that drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor the full lifecycle of IT programs, aligning them with business objectives and timelines.
• Manage scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation to ensure successful outcomes.
• Directly oversee ESS support operations, guaranteeing compliance with Service Level Agreements.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for ESS tools, APIs, and integration processes, handling technical customer inquiries.
• Drive continuous service improvement, maintain technical documentation, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Represent the Egypt IT function in regional and global forums, ensuring alignment with international standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a high‑performing delivery and support team.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and customer service functions to align IT delivery with customer needs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and regional IT teams for seamless solution integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in IT program management, solution delivery, or technical support.
• 2‑3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English for global stakeholder communication.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ESS platforms and APIs.
• Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Project Management expertise (PMP or Prince2 preferred).
• IT service management knowledge (ITIL certification advantageous).
