IT Program Delivery Manager

About the role

The IT Program Delivery Manager leads the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT programs and oversees Electronic Shipping Solutions (ESS) support for the Egypt operation. The role ensures technical solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high service standards that drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor the full lifecycle of complex IT programs, aligning them with business objectives and timelines.
• Manage ESS support operations, guaranteeing compliance with Service Level Agreements.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for ESS tools, APIs, and integration processes, handling technical customer inquiries.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and quality issues.
• Control program budgets and resource allocations.
• Represent the Egypt IT function in regional and global forums.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a high‑performing delivery and support team.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and customer service functions to align IT delivery with customer needs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and regional IT teams for seamless solution integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of proven experience in IT program management, solution delivery, or technical support.
• 2‑3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English for global stakeholder communication.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ESS platforms, APIs, and digital integration tools.
• Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Project management certifications (PMP or Prince2) – highly preferred.
• ITIL certification – a significant advantage.
