About the role
Tabby is looking for a proactive IT Support Specialist to join its Egypt office. You will provide first‑ and second‑level technical assistance, maintain network and infrastructure health, and ensure a smooth IT experience for all employees.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver first and second‑level support for hardware, software, and network issues, logging tickets and resolving problems promptly.
- Monitor network traffic, address connectivity problems, perform upgrades on routers and access points, and support unplanned outages.
- Manage IT assets: assign/unassign equipment, keep inventory accurate, oversee purchases, coordinate repairs, and run regular health checks on laptops.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, servers, and security systems.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide guidance on best IT practices.
- Participate in IT projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives, staying up‑to‑date with technology trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
Required skills
- Windows operating system administration and updates.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Network troubleshooting, including routers and access points.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
- Malware scanning and security best practices.
- IT asset management and inventory control.
- Printer configuration and maintenance.
- Server and infrastructure monitoring.
