Junior Purchasing / Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Purchasing / Procurement Specialist to support our construction projects. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop procurement expertise while working closely with project teams and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in procuring materials and services required for construction projects.
• Support the purchasing team in vendor selection and negotiation processes.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier information.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand material requirements and timelines.
• Help track inventory levels and manage reordering to ensure timely supply.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Contribute to the preparation of purchase orders and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices during the purchasing process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
