Junior Structural Design Engineer – Concrete Structures

About the role

ARX is seeking a Junior Structural Design Engineer to join its Cairo office. You will work on concrete building projects, creating 3D analytical models and ensuring designs meet local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create structural models for concrete buildings and perform analysis.
• Carry out calculations for all structural elements.
• Prepare structural drawings, reinforcement details, and construction documents.
• Verify compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Produce design reports, calculation packages, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Calculate material quantities for concrete and reinforcement.

Required profile

• Graduate of a governmental university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably with transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of concrete structural design and 3D analytical modeling.
• Familiarity with Eurocode and ACI codes.
