Kids Club Animator

About the role

A full-time Kids Club Animator position at an Accor hotel in Hurghada. The role liaises with the Director of Entertainment / Rixy Club Supervisor to create a safe environment for children attending the kids club and crèche, while keeping the club clean, tidy and well-stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Director of Entertainment / Rixy Club Supervisor to ensure a safe environment for all children in the kids club and crèche
• Make sure parents complete the children's registration forms correctly, including the child's history
• Create an inventory of all toys and equipment and keep them clean and properly maintained
• Inform the Assistant Recreation Manager / Recreation Supervisor about the need for more toys or replacements
• Follow daily, weekly and monthly activity schedules set by the Recreation Supervisor
• Enforce the club's rules and regulations at all times
• Keep the club and crèche clean and tidy
• Know the club's facilities, timings, promotions and prices
• Eliminate and collect waste properly, carry chemicals safely and follow quality management and food safety systems
• Carry out other duties assigned by managers and hotel management

Required profile

• At least high school or vocational diploma
• At least 2 years of experience in the industry
• Proficiency in English to communicate with guests and understand professional terminology, and a good command of Arabic, German, French or Russian
• Prior attendance at seminars and training related to the job
• Familiarity with guest profiles and a customer service orientation
