Lead Procurement Engineer

About the role

Andalusia Engineering Services is seeking a Lead Procurement Engineer to manage the full procurement lifecycle for its healthcare facility projects in Cairo. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and selecting suppliers, ensuring that equipment, materials and services meet technical specifications, budget constraints and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and review RFQs and RFPs for engineering and construction supplies.
• Analyse technical and commercial bids, negotiate terms and pricing, and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, maintenance and finance teams to align deliveries with project schedules.
• Monitor vendor performance, maintain procurement documentation and generate regular reports.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives, value‑engineering studies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in engineering procurement for construction or healthcare projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, track costs and drive cost‑optimization.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field; advanced studies in supply chain or procurement are a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Cairo and handle multiple fast‑paced projects.

Required skills

• Preparation and review of RFQs/RFPs.

• Use of ERP or procurement management systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
