Learning & Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for an innovative and goal‑oriented Learning & Development Manager to join our Human Resources team at Mövenpick Hotel Cairo‑Media City. You will design and lead strategic learning initiatives that boost employee performance and support the hotel’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute an annual L&D strategy aligned with corporate goals and industry best practices.
• Conduct training needs analyses across all departments to identify skill gaps.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programs for skill enhancement and career growth.
• Implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS) to streamline delivery and track progress.
• Partner with department heads to create tailored development plans and succession strategies.
• Facilitate leadership development programs for high‑potential talent.
• Measure training effectiveness and report on key performance indicators.
• Manage the L&D budget to ensure cost‑effective resource allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of L&D experience, including 2‑3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of designing successful L&D strategies in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience using e‑learning authoring tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
