Learning Support Assistant (Primary)

About the role
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (Co‑Teacher) to work alongside the lead teacher at GEMS British International School AlRehab. The role supports a primary classroom environment, helping to deliver inclusive education for students with diverse needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support the class teacher during lessons and learning activities.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and organizing classroom resources.
- Provide individual or small‑group support to students as directed.
- Help maintain positive behaviour and classroom management.
- Supervise students during class time, breaks, and school activities when required.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred).
- Fluency in English.
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting is an advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, supportive, and enthusiastic about working with children.
