Localization Vendor Coordinator

About the role

The Localization Vendor Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining a network of multilingual vendors that support our clients' translation and localization projects. You will work closely with project managers, finance, and external partners to ensure the right resources are available at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, select, and qualify external linguists and specialized vendors according to project needs, verticals, and budget constraints.
• Maintain and expand multilingual vendor databases, ensuring up‑to‑date information and contracts.
• Communicate clearly with the Project Management team, providing status updates and feedback on vendor performance.
• Define test procedures, handle test translations and work samples to assess vendor quality.
• Support tender and quotation processes by supplying qualified resource options.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for purchased services.
• Coordinate contract setup, follow‑up, and maintenance, working with Finance to process payments.
• Act as the escalation point for vendor issues and foster long‑term partnerships.
• Monitor industry trends, liaise with professional organizations and universities to attract new talent.

Required profile

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in languages, translation, or a related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in the localization or language services sector (a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
